Ask

Prayer filled with doubt are requests for refusal, but this is not so for those born from above. For the seeds of life emended within the renewed nature, bring forth the best things. For these are our Fathers thoughts and His thoughts are not alien to us. For He has given us the mind of Him, who was and is the express image of the Father.

The desires of the gracious are after the most excellent things; things pure and peaceable, courageous and elevating. They long for God’s glory and for this reason their desires spring from higher motives than those which inflame the un-renewed mind.

Heavenly desires birthed of the Spirit, find fullness only when expressed in fervent prayer. For the Godly one will knock till the gates are opened, will not relent till the desire asked is received at the hand of God. This one knows that as she waits upon the Lord, she nor her family shall not want any good thing. For before the asking daughter, all the promises of God are rich and inexhaustible.

If we will but ask He will always give us more than we ask. The sick of the palsy asked to be healed, Jesus response was not to just do what was asked, but forgave the mans sins. The thief on the cross said “Lord remember me when thou comes into thy kingdom. Jesus said “Today shalt thou be with me in paradise”.

Get into the position of an asker and you shall have what you never asked for and never thought to receive. God is willing to give us infinitely more than we ask.

All heaven lies before the grasp of the one that would dare to say “I will not rise till I have my hearts desire” For this daughter knows that true prayer is not a mere mental exercise, nor a vocal performance but is spiritual communion. It is oneness with the Father. To this one He will not withhold any good thing.

Psalm 2:8 Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
